The Riverside Junior High girls’ basketball teams traveled to Bethel for a tough matchup on Tuesday evening.
In the 7th grade game, Riverside struggled against Bethel, losing 33-11.
Bella Robinson led the team with 8 points, while Lily Jackson added 3 points.
The 8th grade team also fought hard but was defeated 33-23.
Ellie Zwiebel was the top scorer for Riverside with 12 points, followed by Eva Dodds with 4 points.
Maddie Schindewolf chipped in 3 points, while Morgan Klingelhofer and Rollie Foreman each contributed 2 points.
Both teams showed great effort, and the Riverside girls will look to bounce back in their next games.
