The Riverside Junior High girls basketball teams faced off against Troy Christian on Tuesday, with both the 7th and 8th-grade teams struggling to secure a victory.
In the 7th-grade matchup, Riverside was defeated by Troy Christian, 9-28.
Despite the loss, the Riverside team had notable performances, including Ellie Zwiebel, who led the team with 5 points.
Lilly Jackson and Havannah McClintick added 2 points each in the effort.
The 8th-grade team also came up short, losing 9-25 to Troy Christian.
Riverside’s Morgan Klingelhofer contributed 4 points, while Kambria Myer and Ellie Zwiebel each added 2 points to the scoreboard.
