RMS Scores Against Covington

The 7th-grade Riverside volleyball team hosted Covington on Saturday and the Pirates were victorious in 2 sets: 25-9 & 25-23.

Leading scorers were:

• Eva Dodds 15 points with 10 aces and a tip
• Emma Pope 8 points with 6 aces and 2 kills
• Ellie Zwiebel 4 points with 4 aces
• Abigail Littlejohn 3 points with 3 aces
• Morgan Klingelhofer 2 points with 2 aces
• Rollie Foreman 2 points with 2 aces and a kill
• Madison Schindewolf added a tip

The Riverside 8th-grade team defeated Covington in two sets: 26-24 & 25-21.

For the Pirates:

• Kenzie Stotler had 7 points, 3 aces
• Maddy Bower had 6 points, 2 aces
• Chloe Purtee had 5 points, 2 aces, 2 hits
• Molly Carman had 3 points, 2 aces, 4 hits

They play at Milton Union on Monday.
