Volleyball Tournament Results: Round One; Bellefontaine, West Liberty-Salem and Benjamin Logan

The Bellefontaine Chiefs traveled to Tecumseh to take on Trotwood Madison in the first round of sectionals and won: 25-2, 25-4 & 25-7, to move on to the second round.

  • Reagan Standley had 9 aces
  • Taylor Banta had 13 kills, 6 digs, and 3 aces going 13/13 serving
  • Ava Layman added 4 kills
  • Ava Campbell tallied 9 kills and a solo block
  • Kylie Adams had 3 kills
  • Kelsie Snapp had 9 kills, 5 digs, and 5 aces
  • Ava Reeves added 3 aces and Madi Zedeker had 35 assists and 2 aces

The Chiefs are back in action Thursday at Tecumseh vs Northwestern at 7:30 PM

 

The West Liberty-Salem Tigers traveled to Brookville for the first round of the OHSAA volleyball tournament.

The Tigers beat Tri-County North in straight sets: 25-7; 25-9; 25-12

  • Bailey Poppe: 9 kills, 4 digs, 1 block, 3 aces
  • Olivia Wilcox: 8 digs, 1 kill, 14/14 on serve receive
  • Chaley Wade: 4 kills
  • Briley Sullivan: 8 kills, 2/2 serving
  • Londyn Loveless: 15 assists, 2 kills, 2 digs, 1 ace
  • Naomi Cole: 6 kills, 2 digs, 1 block
  • Lyndee Harrison: 18 assists, 3 digs, 3 aces
  • Ellah Heminger: 2 kills, 3 digs, 1 block 10/10 serving with 1 ace
  • Ava Poppe: 8 kills, 3 digs, 4 aces

The Tigers improved to 19-4 and will move on to Round 2 to play the winner of Dayton Christian and Preble Shawnee, Saturday at Brookville.

 

The Benjamin Logan Lady Raiders took on Greenville High School tonight in the first round of sectionals and won in 4 sets.

The scores were 25-15, 14-25, 25-12, 25-11
