The West Liberty-Salem Boys and Girls Track Teams competed at the Minster Invitational on Saturday.

The boys were in first place out of 15 teams.

This is the first time in school history that the boys have won this invitational.

The girls came in 6th out of 17.

“It took a team effort to win such a competitive invitational,” said Coach Aaron Lauck. “In addition to the two school records broken, we had over 10 personal records and two season-best relay times. We are looking strong at the midpoint of the season. Focus and dedication will be crucial to continued development.”
