It was a warm day in the Sale Barn when a storm moved in and cooled things down a little bit Friday afternoon.
Despite inflation, a tornado, and disagreements over solar more than 800 bidders supported 4H and FFA kids at the 2024 Logan County Jr. Fair Livestock Auction.
Almost $240,000 was poured back into the youth of Logan County.
Taking top dollar with his Grand Champion Beef Steer was Layton Schlumbohm. His bidders spent $4,150.

The sale was led by two auctioneers, Johnny Regula & Matthew Bowers. Bowers returns to the Logan County Fair for his second year, and Regula is a seasoned veteran. Commenting on braids, shirts & how they knew the participants families kept the crowd engaged with the auction.
