UPDATE:
Thursday, just before 8:30 AM, Washington Township Police officers were dispatched to US Route 33 and Township Road 239 in reference to an injury accident.
Investigation revealed that Ernest Brock, 38, of Lakeview, was traveling southbound on Township Road 239 and failed to stop at the stop light on US Route 33.
As Brock entered the intersection, he was struck on the driver’s side of his vehicle by a semi-tractor traveling westbound on US Route 33.
The semi-tractor was operated by Kulchiy Valentyn, 48, of Delray Beach, Florida.
Indian Joint Fire District and Lakeview Fire Department were able to extract Brock from his vehicle.
Indian Lake EMS requested Careflight respond to the scene.
Brock is listed in critical condition at Miami Valley Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
