America’s Shortest Street, Bellefontaine’s other claim to fame. McKinley Street, named after the President, is only 20 feet long.
There is nothing super exciting about it, but it has a super cool factor.
It connects West Columbus and Garfield Avenues and up until 2006, the street was considered the shortest in the world.
That’s when a street in Scotland was recorded at just 6 feet, 9 inches long.
It’s easy to see, Bellefontaine loves its little street!
