Monday afternoon, at their weekly meeting, the Bellefontaine Rotary Club continued its popular “Get to Know a Rotarian” series, introducing attendees to its dynamic officer team: Nita Wilkinson, Ted Dennis, and Andrea Merrin.
Nita Wilkinson expressed her gratitude for the club’s welcoming atmosphere, especially for women.
A native of Delaware, Nita is a proud mother of three and grandmother of five.
Known as a morning person, she enjoys reading, writing, and running in her spare time.
Her favorite color is sparkle, reflecting her vibrant personality.
Ted Dennis, a long-time Rotary member, emphasized the joy of service, embodying the club’s motto of “Service Above Self.”
Hailing from Atlanta, Ted dreamed of being a cowboy as a child.
He has two children and an ex-wife and holds a doctorate degree.
His passion for music is evident, having sung in a boys choir that traveled internationally.
Andrea Merrin is currently finishing her MBA in IT Management and is known for her tendency to procrastinate.
A military brat, she was born in Arizona and moved frequently during her childhood.
Now married with four kids, Andrea joined Rotary to expand her social circle while juggling her busy life filled with sporting events and cooking.
The event fostered camaraderie among members and showcased the diverse backgrounds and experiences of the club’s leadership, highlighting the Rotary Club’s commitment to service and community engagement.
