The City of Bellefontaine Water Department is notifying residents of a temporary water service interruption on Thursday, November 5, due to a necessary water line repair.
The affected addresses include:
Michigan Street: 1104, 1105, 1109, 1112, 1113, 1116, 1117, 1120, 1121, 1124, 1127, 1128, 1132, 1133, and 1136.
East Lake Avenue: 600.
Once water service is restored, all affected addresses will be under a boil advisory until water samples are collected and testing confirms the water is safe.
Residents should boil water for at least three minutes before using it for drinking, cooking, or other consumption.
The city says another public notice will be issued once testing is complete and the boil advisory has been lifted.
Water department officials apologize for the inconvenience and thank residents for their patience while crews complete the repairs.
