Bellefontaine City Schools will host a community information session this month to inform residents about an upcoming school levy.
The event, titled “Understanding the Levy: What Are We Being Asked to Vote On?”, is scheduled for Tuesday, September 15, at 6:30 p.m. at the Sloan Distance Learning Center, 555 East Lake Avenue in Bellefontaine.
The session will explain why the levy is being proposed, how the funding would impact the schools, and what it would mean for local taxpayers.
Residents will also have an opportunity to learn more about what they will be asked to vote on and ask questions about the levy before the election.
Community members are encouraged to attend the session to better understand the proposal and its potential impact on Bellefontaine City Schools and local taxpayers.
