Benjamin Logan High School proudly hosted its annual Scholarship Awards Night to honor the remarkable achievements of its graduating seniors. The event, held at the school’s auditorium, showcased the dedication and excellence of the students, as well as the generosity of the community members and organizations that support their educational endeavors.
The evening was filled with heartfelt moments as over 50 scholarships were awarded to deserving students, highlighting their academic talents, leadership skills, and commitment to service. Among the esteemed presenters were faculty members, community leaders, and representatives from various scholarship funds.
Melony Baker, alongside Tami Himmeger, presented the Franklin B. Walter All-Scholastic Award to Joslin Wilber, recognizing her outstanding academic achievement and exemplary character.
Continuing the spirit of generosity, Melony Baker and Tami Himmeger also awarded the Donald Gumpert Scholarship to Alyson Fay and Abby Henry, each receiving $10,500, and the Babe & Ida Willits Memorial Scholarship to Madelyn Harmon, who received $4,500.
Other notable scholarships included the Rob Hayden Memorial Scholarship presented by Melony Baker to Georgia Bates, the Todd T. Jones Scholarship awarded to Peyton Henry, and the Spencer Reames Scholarship bestowed upon Kaitlin Phillips.
Grant Reppart, Cyndi Traficant, Nicole Fuller, and other distinguished presenters honored students with scholarships ranging from memorial awards to those recognizing academic excellence, leadership, and community service.
