The Logan County Coroner released the identity of the person found in Indian Lake on July 4.
Melissa Kirkpatrick, 49, from Harrod, Ohio was found around 1:15 Tuesday afternoon by the docks near the boat ramp at the Indian Lake State Park campgrounds.
A boat operator discovered Kirkpatrick and notified law enforcement.
No other details about the case have been released including the cause of death.
The Ohio Department of Natural Resources is in charge of the investigation.
