Calvary holds ribbon cutting for new school building

Phase 1 of Calvary Christian’s multi-phase construction project is complete with the opening of their new building.

A ribbon cutting was held Monday afternoon to dedicate the new building.

Calvary Christian School has grown in the last decade.

They now educate 410 students and employ 52 staff members.

To keep up with their growth, they’ve constructed a new building which is currently holding grades 1 through 3 (about 100 students).

Phase 2 will begin in the spring and will be the construction of a new 46,000-square-foot school building.

They also plan to look at a new athletic building in the future.

The new Calvary Christian School campus is located on 68 north of Bellefontaine where they own over 40 acres.
