Chamber celebrates Aloha Wok ribbon cutting in downtown Urbana

The Champaign County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau welcomed a new restaurant to downtown Urbana on Thursday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Aloha Wok at 116 Miami Street.

Community members, Chamber representatives, and local supporters gathered to celebrate the restaurant’s grand opening and officially welcome the business to the community.

As part of the ceremony, Aloha Wok received congratulatory proclamations from the State of Ohio and the federal government.

Brian Metzbower, representing Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose, and Taylor Armstrong, Regional Representative for U.S. Senator Bernie Moreno, presented the honors on behalf of their offices.

Located in the heart of downtown Urbana, Aloha Wok features a menu that includes Hawaiian BBQ, Asian favorites, fresh juices, bubble tea, and a full-service bar.

The restaurant is open Monday through Thursday from 11:00 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., and is also open on holidays.

The Champaign County Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Bureau congratulated Aloha Wok on its grand opening and encouraged residents and visitors to stop in and experience one of downtown Urbana’s newest dining destinations.
