City of Bellefontaine’s Service Safety Director, Wes Dodds, has established the free “home and garage sale” days as the following:
- Saturday, June 1st & 8th – no permit required for anyone located north of Columbus Avenue
- Saturday, June 15th & 22nd – no permit required for anyone located south of Columbus Avenue
If you have a sale outside of the above dates, you must have a permit.
Permits can be obtained at the Mayor’s Office, 135 N. Detroit Street-Second Floor.
Office hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
Permits are $5.
