Clark arrested on felony drug charges

Friday evening officers from the Bellefontaine Police Department stopped a white Ford van traveling on US Route 33 at State Route 540.

The driver, later identified as Roscelle Clark, 63, of Bellefontaine had a felony warrant for his arrest for possession of cocaine following a narcotics investigation.

Clark was asked to step out of the vehicle and was arrested.

K9 Pyro was deployed for a vehicle sniff and gave a positive alert to the presence of narcotics.

A search of the van led to the discovery of a large quantity of crack cocaine and a crack pipe.

Clark was taken to the Logan County Jail, where he was lodged on his warrant.

He also faces new charges of possession of cocaine, tampering with evidence, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The crack cocaine was field-tested and confirmed to be positive.
