Wednesday evening, Bellefontaine Police stopped Stephon Adderly, 30, of Columbus, for speeding on South Main Street.
Officers clocked him traveling 61 in the 35 MPH zone.
Taking several blocks to stop for police, he finally pulled into a parking lot.
When officers spoke with Adderly, they noticed several signs of intoxication.
As a result, he was asked to perform several field sobriety tests and failed each one.
Adderly was arrested and transported to the Bellefontaine Police Department where he blew a breath test over two times the legal limit.
He was released to a sober driver and cited with OVI and speed.
