A corn spill temporarily shut down a portion of Madriver Street in Bellefontaine Thursday afternoon.
The spill occurred on between Columbus Avenue and Sandusky Avenue.
Based on the scene, it appeared a tire failure on a hopper wagon caused a load of corn to spill across the roadway.
Top’s Towing assisted at the scene with the cleanup efforts, and traffic was diverted around the area.
No injuries were reported.
