The Village of Russells Point is seeking candidates to fill a vacancy on its Council.
The term for the new member will commence immediately upon being sworn in by the Mayor and will conclude on December 31, 2025.
Interested individuals are encouraged to express their intentions at the upcoming regular Council meeting scheduled for Monday, October 21, 2024, at 7:00 PM.
To qualify for consideration, applicants must meet the following criteria:
– Be a registered voter.
– Have resided in the village for at least one year prior to the appointment.
– With few exceptions, candidates may not hold any other public employment or have any interest in contracts with the village.
