The Logan County Engineer’s Office (LCEO) announces that contractor J&J Schlaegel, Inc. will be performing a profile improvement project on County Road (CR) 18 with said project being located south of Township Road 200 intersection.
It’s estimated that this section of road will be closed to all traffic between August 19, 2024, and September 13, 2024. The intersection of CR 18 and TR 200 will remain open. The Logan County Engineer’s Office has posted detour signage using CR 43, CR 31, and CR 11.
In September of 2021, the LCEO submitted and was eventually awarded a funding application to cover approximately 90% of the construction costs of this project. The project aims to improve roadway safety by improving the line of sight for vehicles on CR 18 and vehicles approaching CR 18 from TR 216, TR 200, and CR 200.
