Craig Passes Away From Injuries Sustained in US 68 Accident

The Logan County Sheriff’s Office responded to a serious one-vehicle accident on State Route 68 North on Thursday, September 7th.

Franklin Craig, 90, of Bellefontaine was Northbound when he went off the roadway and struck a guardrail.

Craig then flipped his truck multiple times and came to rest on the guardrail.

He was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by the Bellefontaine Fire Department and later transferred to St. Rita’s in Lima.

Craig passed away at St. Ritas from his injuries on Saturday, September 9th.

This crash is the fifth fatality in Logan County in 2023.
