On Sunday, Logan County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of domestic violence at a home on Carlisle Street in Quincy. The caller, a woman, was pursuing her boyfriend, 31-year-old Quandale Littlefield, after a physical altercation.
Law enforcement coordinated with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and stopped Littlefield’s vehicle on East Court Street in Sidney. When deputies arrived, they separated the couple for questioning.
The victim reported that Littlefield had been drinking heavily. She said he called her for a ride around 2:45 AM after crashing his car. During the pickup, he was verbally abusive. Later, she received a threatening text from him and claimed he hit her in the back of the head and damaged her belongings.
Littlefield denied hitting her, suggesting she sent the threatening message herself. He stated their issues were due to jealousy and claimed his mother was on FaceTime during the incident.
Deputies detected a strong smell of alcohol on Littlefield, who was arrested for domestic violence and taken to the Logan County Jail.
