Logan County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a disturbance on Hamilton Street in East Liberty Monday.

When deputies arrived at the residence, they witnessed clumps of hair on the ground and a broken brick lying in the grass.

The victim reported she was attacked by her sister, Zada Bennet, 19, of East Liberty, and she defended herself.

The two were arguing over unpaid bills, which escalated to Bennet attacking her sister.

Witnesses say Bennet attacked her sister three times, each time being pushed to the ground by her sister in defense.

Deputies cited Bennet for domestic violence and advised her not to retaliate or intimidate her sister, or she would face additional charges.
