Friday night, Indian Lake High School student, Nolan Purk 17 of Lakeview, crashed his truck just after 7:30 PM.
Purk was going westbound on Township Road 240, outside of Lakeview, when he went off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree.
He was transported to Mary Rutan Hospital by the Indian Lake EMS.
Purk later passed away from injuries sustained in the accident.
In a statement on social media, Indian Lake Schools says they will have counseling services available at the school on Monday morning.
