A wanted man was arrested Saturday night after the Bellefontaine Police Department Special Response Team served a search warrant at a home on East Patterson Avenue.
According to police, officers went to a home around 9:40 p.m. to arrest 59-year-old Douglas Risner Jr., who the Ohio Adult Parole Authority wanted on a felony parole warrant.
Police surrounded the home and announced their presence several times.
Risner answered the door and came outside, where he was taken into custody without incident.
Two other men, Dale Evans, 42, and Quinten Turner, 34, also came out of the apartment and were detained.
Officers cleared the apartment and found no one else inside.
The Ohio Adult Parole Authority then searched the residence with help from detectives.
Police said Risner has previous convictions that include aggravated assault, robbery, burglary, tampering with evidence, and having weapons while under disability.
Risner was taken to the Logan County Jail on the felony parole warrant.
Evans was jailed on a parole violation, and Turner was lodged on a probation violation.
The Ohio Adult Parole Authority assisted the Bellefontaine Police Department, the Bellefontaine Police K-9 Unit, the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, and Bellefontaine Police detectives and patrol officers.
