There’s good news for swimmers in Bellefontaine.
The City of Bellefontaine announced that construction on the new Hoffman Pool will begin later than originally planned, allowing the current pool to remain open for a couple of extra weeks.
Instead of closing at the end of July, Hoffman Pool will now remain open through Sunday, August 16.
City officials said the delayed construction schedule gives families a little more time to enjoy the pool before work begins on the long-awaited replacement project.
