Bellefontaine residents are reminded that garbage and recycling collection will be delayed by one day this week due to the Memorial Day holiday.
The City of Bellefontaine and Republic Services announced that because Memorial Day falls on Monday, all trash and recycling routes will run one day later than normal throughout the week.
Residents are encouraged to place garbage and recycling at the curb by 6 a.m. on their adjusted collection day to ensure pickup.
