Saturday, Brian Horn, 45 of Forest, was stopped just outside of Lakeview by Logan County Sheriff’s Deputies because the trailer he was pulling didn’t have a license plate on it.

When officers approached Horn, he showed signs of intoxication/drug use.

He then opened his glovebox to retrieve insurance information for deputies and they could see Narcan inside.

Officers then asked Horn if there was anything illegal inside the vehicle.

He said that he had a marijuana pipe and marijuana roaches.

A search was then done on the vehicle and deputies turned up a pipe that contained a white powdery substance inside and a plastic baggie with what appeared to be a rock of methamphetamine.

Horn was placed into handcuffs and searched.

Deputies also found a white pill in his pocket.

He was transported to the Logan County Jail.

Horn was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance.
