The Bellefontaine varsity girls basketball team will host Benjamin Logan on December 6th.

The night will be about much more than basketball as BHS will hold its first-ever “Fight Cancer of All Colors” event.

The Lady Chiefs have teamed up with the Logan County Cancer Society for the special night.

Bellefontaine started selling T-shirts yesterday. The sale ends on November 20th at 2 p.m.

You can see more HERE.

There will also be a bake sale and 50/50 tickets sold on the night of the event.

The purpose is to raise money for the cause, therefore $8 of every T-shirt sold will go back to the Logan County Cancer Society along with all proceeds from the bake sale and 50/50 raffle.

The Logan County Cancer Society (LCCS) has been in existence for over 65 years in Logan County.

The mission and work of the LCCS is to provide financial assistance to residents of Logan County who have cancer or a cancer-related illness while promoting education in the detection, prevention, and treatment of cancer.

100% of the dollars raised are used to provide aid to these individuals.

No dollars are used for salaries or administrative overhead.

Those expenses are all covered by Mary Rutan Health.

You’re encouraged to pack the gym and fight cancer when the Lady Chiefs host the Lady Raiders next month.
