Members of the Indian Lake High School Class of 2026 spent one of their final days as Lakers giving back to the community that supported them throughout their school years.

As part of the annual Senior Service Day project, students spread out across the Indian Lake area to complete a variety of community improvement projects.

Teams worked in Russells Point, where they mulched and planted flowers at the Municipal Building and Leppich Field.

Other students traveled to the Indian Lake State Park, where they power-washed the pool area and cleaned out canoes ahead of the busy summer season.

Several seniors also helped with landscaping projects at homes in Lakeview that are still recovering from the 2024 tornado, along with improvements at the Young at Heart building.

Back on campus, students cleaned up the school courtyard, mulched flower beds, refreshed landscaping, assisted in the art room, and removed debris that had accumulated during the winter months.

Members of the senior yearbook staff also used the day to make a final push to complete their pages before graduation.

Senior Service Day is held each year to allow graduating seniors an opportunity to leave a positive impact on the community before finishing their time at Indian Lake High School.

After the work was complete, students gathered for a pizza party, played games, and wrapped up the day by painting the large rock in front of the school with a custom Class of 2026 design.
