Early Monday morning, deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office were called to a home in Lakeview after a woman was found on the porch, barefoot and without a coat, saying she had been kidnapped.

The woman, 69-year-old Debra Ambos-Hensley, told deputies she had been kidnapped from the Caribbean, had her wallet and teeth taken, and was dropped off in Ohio.

However, she appeared unsteady on her feet and showed other signs of intoxication.

It was found that Ambos-Hensley is a resident of Lakeview.

She later told deputies that she lived alone and had been drinking earlier in the day.

Due to her condition and inability to care for herself, she was arrested for disorderly conduct.

A later search of her home uncovered three large empty liquor bottles in the trash and a half-full glass of brown liquid on the table.

She also said she had been looking for her missing dog, but a dog was not found at the house.

Ambos-Hensley was taken to the Logan County Jail.
