A 54-year-old Belle Center man was arrested Sunday night after deputies responded to a report of reckless driving at a local campground.

Law enforcement was called to Flip Flop Cove Campground on the north side of Indian Lake on State Route 235 around 8:00 p.m.

The campground owner reported two people driving recklessly through the gravel driveway, damaging pumpkins and arguing.

Deputies identified the driver as Jarred Hendricks.

He smelled of alcoholic beverages, showed several signs of intoxication, and failed field sobriety tests.

Hendricks said he had consumed two shots of whiskey and four beers.

A breath test showed a blood alcohol level of .186, more than two times the legal limit.

Hendricks was arrested and charged with physical control of a vehicle while under the influence.

He was taken to the Logan County Jail.
