Had a close call with a scammer around Christmas, I received a text from a person looking for some one to take care of his business while he was out of the states and had 25 people in that text! Said he was going to send me 1900.00 and to deposit the check in my bank and I could keep 600.00 if I sent a money order to another address in California , I thought wow this is a good gig, 600 every week for just mailing money to someone to purchase a painting! Nope luckily I looked it up! The check looks so real the bank excepts it and then realize after a few days , there is no bank on the other end and after you have sent 1400.00 of the money, well your screwed because the bank then pulls it out of your account when they realize the check is bad! I called the dude out on this and he had the nerve to ask me to send his check back to him, which I still have and should take it to the police station and the envelope! Just double check or google it , that’s where I found out omg a lot of people have fallen for this!

I mean you really thought this would be a good gig? This has SCAM written all over it. Goes back to the old saying if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. But Now the man has some of your personal info bc he send you a check!
