Local Issues on the Ballot This Fall

Wondering what you are going to see on your ballot this fall?

Several key local issues will be on the November 5 general election ballot, according to the Logan County Board of Elections.

  • Village of West Mansfield: Renewal of a 3-mill tax for current expenses, estimated to collect $26,000 annually. Effective for 5 years starting in 2025.
  • Perry Township: Renewal of a 1-mill tax for park funding, estimated to collect $55,000 annually. Effective for 5 years starting in 2025.
  • Ridgemont Local School District: Renewal of a 0.75% income tax for school expenses, effective for 5 years starting January 1, 2026.
  • Triad Local School District: Renewal of a 0.5% income tax for school operating expenses, effective for 5 years starting January 1, 2026.
  • Logan County: Renewal of a 2.15-mill tax for supporting Children’s Services and the care of abused, neglected, and dependent children, estimated to collect $2,600,000 annually. Effective for 5 years starting in 2024.
  • Roundhouse Brewing Company LLC: Proposal to allow the sale of beer, wine, mixed beverages, and spirituous liquor on Sundays at Roundhouse Brewing Company, 217 W. Chillicothe Ave, Bellefontaine.

  • Graham Local School District: 1% earned income tax
  • Mechanicsburg Exempted Village School District: Renewal emergency tax levy
  • Mechanicsburg Public Library: 1-mill renewal operating tax levy
  • Triad Local School District: 0.5% income tax renewal
  • Northeast Champaign County Fire District: 4.5-mill fire and ambulance replacement tax levy
  • Village of Mechanicsburg: 2.5-mill fire and EMS renewal tax levy
  • Village of St. Paris: 4-mill street improvements renewal tax levy; Electric and gas aggregation
  • Village of Mutual: 4-mill additional fire and EMS tax levy
  • Village of Woodstock: 2-mill additional parks and recreation levy
  • Goshen Township: 0.5-mill renewal levy for Maple Grove Cemetery; 4-mill additional fire and EMS levy
  • Jackson Township: 0.06-mill renewal levy for roads and bridges
  • Johnson Township: 1-mill renewal levy for road improvements
  • Rush Township: 0.5-mill replacement tax levy for cemetery
  • Union Township: 2-mill renewal levy for roads and bridges
