Opening ceremonies for the Logan County Fair kicked off Sunday evening. Alisha Jenkins sang the national anthem, and Fair Board President Rick Thomas followed with these opening remarks.

The 2022 Logan County Junior Fair Royalty Contest then followed in the Show Barn.
Emcee Joel Penhorwood, Judges Derick Calland, Kyle Springs & Ali Restelli had their work cut out for them as there were several local teens vying for the royalty spots.
The 2022 Princess candidates were Katlyn Adams, Brylee Buyer, Lorena Knox, Reagan Roell, and Ealise Simpson.
The 2022 Prince candidates were Grant Krabill, Timothy Krabill, and Cruz Parker.
Competing for Queen were Paige Comer, Rozlynn Estep, Sage Futrell, Kendra Kennedy, Izabella Meister, and Elizabeth Miller.
The lone 2022 King candidate was Brody Rhoads.
