The Logan County History Center invites you to their Salute to Indian Lake Open House on Sunday, 1 – 5 PM.
The salute features the remarkable history of Indian Lake and all the changes it has seen over the years.
From its time as the hunting and fishing grounds of American Indians to its days as a reservoir for the canal system, to the present.
This is also the 100th anniversary of the opening of Sandy Beach Amusement Park on Decoration Day (Memorial Day), 1924.
In addition, we will refresh the exhibits in the Indian Lake Room and use many of the wonderful photographs we have of Indian Lake in their archives.
They are partnering with the Indian Lake Area Historical Society with many of the exhibits.
Admission is free.
All donations received at the open house will go to the Logan County United Way for the Tornado Relief Fund.
