A Logan County jury has found Charles A. Magouirk not guilty on six felony charges, including four counts of rape, following a trial that concluded Friday.
According to court proceedings, the State of Ohio also dismissed an additional rape charge after jurors were unable to reach a unanimous decision on that count.
The charges stemmed from alleged incidents that occurred during the summer of 2025 at a trailer where Magouirk was living while working as a bartender at Froggy’s Bar near Indian Lake.
Testimony indicated Magouirk met the accuser during a shift at the bar on June 7, 2025.
The trial lasted approximately two and a half days, with the jury deliberating for about five hours before returning its verdict.
Logan County Assistant Prosecutor Nathan Yohey represented the state, while defense attorney Chris Bucio represented Magouirk.
