The Logan County Engineer’s Office has announced that the Shelly Company will begin construction on several local roads.

The work will take place from 7:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. daily, with access limited to emergency vehicles and local traffic only; through traffic will not be permitted.

The following roads will be impacted:

  • County Road 10: From Organ Avenue in Bellefontaine to Zanesfield Corporation Line, through October 1

Upcoming Project:

  • County Road 9: From State Route 47 to State Route 274, beginning October 2 and running through October 11

Travelers are advised to exercise caution in the construction zones due to unmarked no-passing areas and potential drop-offs along the road edges.

Additionally, butt joints will be cut at intersections and bridges prior to paving, resulting in bumps in the roadway.

Motorists are urged to reduce speeds to 15 mph or less when passing through these areas.

The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions.

The Logan County Engineer’s Office appreciates the community’s cooperation and apologizes for any inconvenience caused during this necessary construction.
