Wednesday afternoon, Washington Township Police officers made a traffic stop on State Route 235 near 274, on a vehicle driven by Joseph Lowe, 58, of Dayton, for an equipment violation.
Lowe showed signs of drug use and consented to a search of his vehicle.
Officers found Alprazolam, a scheduled drug, Lowe did not have a prescription for.
He was arrested and transported to the Logan County Jail where officers found Oxycodone on him.
Lowe was charged with two counts of possession of drugs.
