Drivers traveling along South Main Street in Bellefontaine will continue to see traffic impacts through Thursday, September 3.
The City of Bellefontaine says construction work between Colton Avenue and Arnold Avenue has been extended from the originally scheduled Wednesday completion date.
Traffic patterns will remain unchanged during the additional day of work.
The easternmost northbound lane of South Main Street remains closed between Colton and Arnold Avenues.
Drivers also cannot make right-hand turns from Colton Avenue onto South Main Street.
BME Services, LLC is replacing a sanitary sewer lateral for 5/3 Bank in the area.
Motorists are encouraged to slow down, use caution, and watch for workers and changing traffic patterns while traveling through the construction zone.
