Name: Rylee McCully

Parents: Randy and Staci McCully

School activities & awards: Marching Band, Pep Band, Concert Band, NHS, BPA, Student Council, Interact

If I were principal for a day: In the morning, I would bring in puppies and we would have a puppy petting zoo. For lunch, Raising Cane’s would be catered and then we would have a dance party in the gym.

Favorite school memory: Traveling to away football games with the marching band and singing the entire way there.

People who have been an inspiration to me include: My parents, Rob Starnes and Makayla Brandyberry

Lately, I have been reading: The book of Esther

My advice to parents: Be your kid’s biggest cheerleader, but don’t forget to be honest with them.

My biggest regret: Putting so much pressure on myself and not looking for joy in the little things.

Most embarrassing moment: Tripping and almost falling as we were marching out of the stadium after one of our football games.

Next year I will be: Attending Cedarville University majoring in Worship.

Lately, I have been reading: The Last Lecture

My advice to parents: Even though I am growing up, I will always want you in my life.

My biggest regret: Not realizing soon enough that I don’t have to apologize for other people’s mistakes.

Most embarrassing moment: Getting caught at the 3-yard line on the football field.

Next year I will be: Attending The Ohio State University at Lima for Engineering.
