The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) has announced a closure on State Route 117 starting Monday, March 31st, and lasting through Friday, April 11th.

The closure will affect the stretch of State Route 117 between the Logan County/Hardin County line and the North Fork Miami River.

This necessary closure is being implemented so crews can replace two culverts along the roadway.

Detour Routes:

  • Northbound Traffic: Drivers traveling northbound will be detoured onto State Route 235 to North State Route 235, then to U.S. Route 33, and finally back to State Route 117
  • Southbound Traffic: Southbound motorists will follow the detour route via State Route 235, U.S. 33, and return to State Route 117

ODOT urges drivers to plan ahead for potential delays and follow all posted detour signs.

The department appreciates the public’s cooperation during this maintenance project.

Continuing impacts include:

State Route 273 Lane Closure – Expect State Route 273 between Oakridge Drive and Shady Lane to be reduced to one lane through Friday, July 18.

Traffic will be maintained with a temporary traffic signal. Crews will be replacing the bridge.
