The Ohio State University Extension office, located at 1100 South Detroit Street in Bellefontaine, has planned an open house for this Thursday.
The event will highlight 4-H programs in Logan County from 5-7 pm.
Serving all 88 counties in Ohio, OSU Extension serves the community through the well-known 4-H clubs, community environment, and farm consumer science.
To add, 4-H is America’s largest youth development organization, from 3rd to 12th grade.
Kids who are involved in 4-H, learn leadership, citizenship, and life skills.
It does not just include livestock animals. There is a project for everyone, from photography to cooking, to scrapbooking to firearms.
Enrolling in 4-H can be done at the open house or by contacting your local 4-H advisor.
If you cannot make the open house, you can find more on the extension office website, or call (937) 599-4227.
