One of Logan County’s biggest summer events returns this Saturday as Pineapple Palooza takes over downtown Bellefontaine from 2 p.m. to midnight.

General admission is free, giving visitors access to live entertainment, food vendors, shopping and activities throughout the day.

An All-Inclusive Pass is also available and includes obstacle courses, inflatables, an exotic petting zoo and horseback rides.

The main stage will feature performances by Movin with MB Hurst Line Dancing, Pete Moss, John Whitehead, Ran Over Fritz featuring Asher Urban, and headliner The Indoorfins. DJ BJ and Billie and River Radio will also keep the music going throughout the day.

Beyond the music, visitors can take part in pineapple-themed contests with prizes, games for all ages, a zip line, line dancing, and custom T-shirt printing.

Food vendors will include Where There’s Smoke BBQ, Freyhof’s Funnel Cakes, G’s Concessions, Hall’s Country Kettle Corn, Schmidt’s Sausage Truck, Fat Hammies, Waldog Frankfurters, Valentine Polar Treats, and The Main Squeeze.

Shoppers can also browse vendors offering handmade crafts, jewelry, home décor, boutique clothing, specialty foods, unique gifts, and other locally made products.

Olivia Covey with the Downtown Bellefontaine Partnership says Pineapple Palooza has become a summer tradition that offers something for everyone.

Pineapple Palooza has become one of Bellefontaine’s signature summer events, bringing residents and visitors together for a day of food, music, shopping, and family-friendly fun in the heart of downtown.

Tickets for the All-Inclusive Pass are available through Eventbrite.

Downtown streets are set to close for the event at 11 AM on Saturday.
