The show ring featured some of the finest locally bred market lambs Wednesday during the 2026 Logan County Junior Fair Born and Raised Lamb Show, where exhibitors competed with sheep that were both bred and raised in Logan County. The annual competition celebrates the quality of livestock produced by local breeders while showcasing the hard work exhibitors put into developing their projects.
When the final drive concluded, it was a memorable debut for Avery Saylor. Competing with sheep for the first time, Saylor captured the Overall Grand Champion Born and Raised Lamb title, an impressive accomplishment in her inaugural year showing market lambs at the Logan County Fair.

Joslyn Cummins exhibited the Overall Reserve Grand Champion with her Class 7 winner, while Alexandra Kinney finished third overall. Bronn Ricketts earned fourth, and Chloe Borgerding rounded out the overall top five.
The Born and Raised Lamb Show once again demonstrated the depth and quality of Logan County’s sheep industry, recognizing not only the exhibitors but also the local breeders whose genetics continue to produce championship-caliber market lambs.
