On Friday afternoon, a traffic collision occurred near the intersection of US 33 and County Road 57, just outside of Huntsville, resulting in one individual suffering serious injuries.

Joseph Rose, 46, of Huntsville, was crossing US 33 on County Road 57 when his vehicle collided with that of Benjamin Mulldane, 49, of Lakeview. The impact caused Rose’s vehicle to spin out of control before striking a stop sign and coming to rest in a ditch along the highway.

Meanwhile, Mulldane’s vehicle continued on its path and collided with a car driven by Amy Preston, 25, of Huntsville, who was traveling on County Road 57. The force of the crash caused Mulldane’s vehicle to overturn, landing in a ditch near Rose’s vehicle.
