Six honored on final 2025/2026 Wall of Fame

The final Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken Wall of Fame students of the school year were recognized Monday for their leadership, character, kindness, and dedication both inside and outside the classroom.

Students from several local schools were honored during the final recognition of the 2025-26 school year.

From Bellefontaine Elementary School, first grader Gabriella “Ella” Whitt was nominated by teacher Mrs. Wechta for her kindness, encouragement of others, and positive attitude in the classroom. Her teacher praised Ella for always treating others with respect and consistently giving her best effort.

Bellefontaine Intermediate School recognized fifth grader Jace Guthrie for his strong work ethic, respectful attitude, and willingness to help classmates feel included and supported.

At Bellefontaine Middle School, eighth grader Feenix Johnston was honored for perseverance, academic dedication, and compassion toward others despite personal challenges.

Bellefontaine High School junior Maya Shazier was selected for her positive attitude, leadership, resilience, and commitment to academic success. School officials described her as a bright and uplifting presence within the building.

Two students from Calvary Christian School were also recognized.

Seventh grader Eli Keller was honored for his leadership, authenticity, and willingness to help others, while senior Allena Miller was recognized for her servant leadership, strong faith, academic involvement, and dedication to community service through organizations including National Honor Society, Key Club, and student leadership groups.

The Wall of Fame program is sponsored by Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken, the Bellefontaine Police Department, and V-Teck Communications.

School officials and teachers praised each student for demonstrating character traits that positively impact their classmates, schools, and the community.
