Just after 3 PM Tuesday, officers from the Bellefontaine Police Department were called to the Bellefontaine High School about a bomb scare on a school bus.
A 12-year-old Bellefontaine City Schools student had said that he put a bomb on the bus, and was detained in the principal’s office.
The bus was searched by Bellefontaine Police and Allen County Bomb Squad.
No explosives were found.
The student was charged with Inducing Panic and transported to the Central Ohio Youth Corrections Facility.
