Tambaro recognized in Scholastic Art Competition

Benjamin Logan Schools is proud to announce that Tony Tambaro, a talented young artist from the Class of 2028, has been recognized in the prestigious Scholastic Art & Writing Awards competition for his outstanding creativity and dedication to the arts.

Tony submitted several original works, created on his own time, and received recognition for the following:

  • “Fantasmi”Gold Key Award (24×18 inches, acrylic paints and watercolors)
  • “City of Life”Silver Key Award (14×11 inches, acrylic paints)
  • “Abducted”Honorable Mention (16×20 inches, watercolor and acrylic paints)
  • “Speed of Sound”Honorable Mention (18×24 inches, acrylic paints)

Mrs. Jennifer Davis, Tony’s art teacher, shared, “Tony is truly gifted. He has a remarkable ability to bring his imagination to life on the canvas. These are artworks that Tony made on his own time. We shared them with his class. Join us in congratulating Tony on his well-deserved success! He makes Benjamin Logan Schools proud!

Tony’s award-winning works will be displayed at the K12 Gallery & TEJAS, located at 341 S. Jefferson St., Dayton, OH 45402. The exhibition will run from January 20 to February 21, 2025, showcasing the talents of young artists across the region.

The Scholastic Award Ceremony will take place at the gallery on February 21, 2025, with a preview starting at 4:30 PM and the awards ceremony beginning at 5:00 PM.

Benjamin Logan Schools congratulates Tony on his achievements and extends gratitude to Mrs. Davis for nurturing and celebrating the artistic talents of her students.

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is one of the nation’s largest and most prestigious recognition programs for creative teens, showcasing excellence in the arts and inspiring future generations of artists and writers.
